Description
Keep blankets, clothes and clutter out of sight, and keep them clean. This 16 inch x20 inch extra large cotton rope basket pairs a deep round body with a matching lid that zips fully shut, so dust, pet hair and curious paws stay out whether it serves as a woven laundry hamper in the bedroom or a blanket storage basket beside the sofa. The body is doublewoven from thick natural cotton rope nearly 5 lbs of it so it stands upright on its own, even when empty, with no plastic frame inside. Faux leather handles on the body and the lid let you carry a full load in one trip, and the handwoven Dark Grey finish settles comfortably into boho, modernfarmhouse and minimalist rooms alike. A note on arrival: like all woven rope baskets, it ships folded and compressed, and may show creases from packaging. Unfolding it is easy, and there is more than one way to do it: stuff it with pillows or blankets for a day or two, pass a hand steamer over the creases while gently stretching, or simply push the folds out and shape the sides by hand. Once opened up, it takes its proper round shape for good. What fits inside: a week of family laundry, spare comforters and throw pillows, offseason clothes, beach towels, or the clutter that migrates around the living room. It also makes a warm housewarming or newbaby gift. Sized about 16 inches wide by 20 inches tall. Spot clean with a damp cloth.
