StoreYourBoard Overhead Tote Loft Bin Rail System is a largecapacity ceiling rail solution for organizing 8 compatible 27gallon totes while keeping garage, attic, basement, shed or crawlspace floor space open. The system is the rail kit only; plastic bins are not included, so buyers should use totes they already own or purchase compatible containers separately. Each tote position is rated up to 50 lb when properly installed, for up to 400 lb total on the 8bin model. The rails are made from 100% powdercoated steel with 30 in rail length, black finish, black hardware and 15 x 15 mm square tubing. They support the tote by the handle/rim support area, not by a decorative lid surface, so measure before installing. Compatible totes should have the loadbearing handle or rim within 3 in from the top; lower handles, weak rims, nonloadbearing lids or oversized talllid shapes may not work. The 8bin model can be configured for up to 8 totes using shortside / sidewide orientation, or for up to 4 largerposition totes using longside / narrow orientation where space requires it. Set each row/gap to the tote size you plan to use and avoid mixing different widths in the same row. Mount into 16 in or 24 in wood ceiling joists with included black hardware. Concrete mounting requires buyersupplied anchors. Plan the layout, align rails level, leave slideout clearance, and use for seasonal decor, camping supplies, sports equipment, linens and keepsakes.
