Description
Keep a wheeled trash can lid closed with an adjustable screwon strap system made for rigid outdoor bins. The strap adjusts from 51.2 to 70.9 in (130 to 180 cm) and measures approximately 1.18 in wide. Before ordering, measure the complete strap route from one planned mounting point, across the lid, to the opposite mounting point. Fit depends on the bin size, shape, wall thickness, and available mounting surfaces. Installation requires screws and creates permanent holes. Position the locking end clips on flat, rigid areas, mark the mounting points, fasten the clips, adjust the strap tension, and use the included key to release the locking clips when opening the lid. The nylon webbing provides a wide contact area across the lid. Molded sleeves help reduce direct rubbing where the strap crosses the lid edges. When correctly fitted and adjusted, the system helps keep the lid closed during wind, movement, tipovers, and contact from outdoor animals.
